Honor, Glory, Power

I chose to use this assignment as one of my four this week because I am a huge Game of Thrones fan. I binge watched all of the seasons last summer and am currently waiting anxiously for the next season to come out, so when I saw this as one of the assignment options I felt like I had to do it.

In Game of Thrones, every house has its own logo, motto, and banner. This assignment had you create your own banner with the name of your house, your house’s logo, and your house’s motto. I chose Withers to be my house name because my last name is Withers along with the rest of my family. I chose the colors red and blue because they are my two favorite colors and they are both dominant color. I chose the axes as our logo because I believe if my family lived back in those days we would be warriors and be one of the stronger houses in wars. When I made my house’s motto, I used the house Tully’s motto from the show for an idea of what I should make mine. Their motto is Family, Duty, Honor, so I changed two of the words and came up with Honor, Glory, Power which are three things that most people want in the show and three things I believe that my family would be able to achieve.

I created this banner on www.jointherealm.com.

Step 1: Choose either to make the banner by yourself or for the website to make it for you (I chose to make it myself)

Step 4: Click on the icons button and looked through all of the pictures in each category until you find one you like and choose what color you want it to be. Then resize and move the logo around until it is where you want it.

Step 5: Choose up to three more logos if you want to and change the color and resize them by clicking on the button “ADD UP TO 3 MORE ICONS” at the bottom of your banner.
